Over the past year Youthline had 14,000 people call the 24/7 Helpline. Young kiwis with a bright future, that needed someone they could trust, someone to listen, someone to care – during their time of distress.

14-year-old Kerry* was one of those people. Someone close to her had been saying horrible things like, ‘What are you doing here, why are you around?’ They had even told her to end her own life.
